In February 2023, MLSe Launchpad hosted a remarkable Student Day event, extending invitations to various high schools across Toronto. This special occasion coincided with Black History Month, offering an opportunity for grade 11 and 12 students to engage in activities that celebrated and honoured the rich contributions of the Black community. Throughout the day, students had the chance to engage in workshops, discussions, and presentations that highlighted the profound impact of Black history on society. These activities aimed to educate, inspire, and empower the young participants.
